Two nights works if you live an hour away. From Vienna, Munich or Milan it is barely worth unpacking.

Three nights buys the extra leg — far enough out to reach water that is genuinely quiet, with a whole day in the middle that belongs to nobody. Board Friday evening, disembark Monday morning, and go straight to the airport having actually been away.

The Rhythm

How The Days Run

Friday: Split. Board in the evening, dinner aboard, a short passage out.
Saturday: The long leg out to the outer islands. Swimming, and dinner ashore.
Sunday: The day that belongs to nobody. Anchor, swim, read, sail if the wind is worth it.
Monday: Early return to Split, and disembarkation after breakfast.
