Sailors of the World
Arrive alone. Leave with a crew.
Reserve A PlaceAsk A Question- Open to men and women, all ages, all nationalities
- Sold by the cabin - come alone, and most people do
- No sailing experience needed, and none assumed
- A cook aboard who takes dinner seriously
- Islands, swimming and the anchorages the guidebooks miss
- Art, music and whatever else people bring with them
Everybody aboard came on their own. That is the whole idea.
Sailors of the World is the open week — men and women, any age, from wherever the flights happen to come from. Nobody needs to know how to sail and nobody needs to bring anyone. What people do bring is whatever they are good at: one guest cooks, one paints, one knows every anchorage between here and Vis, one has a story that takes an entire dinner.
The days are sailing, swimming and islands. The evenings are a long table, a cook who takes it seriously, and the particular ease of a group that has spent the day working a boat together. Some weeks somebody brings paints. Some weeks it turns into a very good argument about wine.
People arrive as strangers on a Saturday. By Tuesday it is a crew.
How The Days Run
- Day One
- Split. Boarding, introductions, and the first dinner at anchor.
- Day Two
- Out to the islands. Everyone takes a turn at the helm.
- Day Three
- A long sailing day, then a village with one restaurant and no menu.
- Day Four
- Swimming, painting, reading, sleeping. Whatever the day turns into.
- Day Five
- The best passage of the week. Nobody is a passenger by now.
- Day Six
- The crew chooses. It always chooses well.
- Day Seven
- Return to Split, and the group chat that will outlive the week.
What The Price Covers
- Seven nights aboard in a private cabin
- All meals aboard and dinners ashore as the route allows
- Skipper, crew and a cook
- Harbour and berth fees
- Snorkelling and paddleboards aboard
Afterwards
