Most wellness weeks ask how relaxed you felt when you left. This one is built around a harder question: what is different three months later.
The Longevity Retreat is the measured week. In partnership with a clinic, guests who want it take a baseline panel before sailing and the same panel eight to twelve weeks after. The clinic holds the data and the clinical responsibility. We run the seven days in between — sleep, movement, sunlight, real food, cold water, no alcohol and good company, which happen to be the six things that move those numbers.
We do not test anyone aboard and we prescribe nothing. What we offer is the intervention, honestly described, and the option to find out whether it worked.
How The Week Works
- Before
- Optional baseline work with the partner clinic, arranged before you travel. Entirely your choice, and entirely between you and them.
- Aboard
- Long sailing days, cold immersion at dawn, unstructured afternoons, and evenings without a screen. Anchorages chosen for dark skies and silence.
- Sessions
- A practitioner aboard for the week on the things that actually decide healthspan after forty-five: sleep, muscle, metabolic health and stress. Evidence, plainly explained.
- Food
- Adriatic, seasonal, protein-forward, and low or no alcohol throughout — the change most guests say they keep.
- After
- The same panel at eight to twelve weeks, so the week is measured rather than remembered. A group call at four weeks and again at twelve.
Longevity Or Balance?
If you want the numbers — a baseline, an intervention and a follow-up — this is the week. If you would rather move than measure, the Balance Retreat is the active version: pilates on deck, open water and island ridgelines, with nothing to fill in afterwards.
How The Days Run
- Day One
- Split. Boarding, the first passage, and what each guest wants from the week.
- Day Two
- Cold swim at dawn. Sailing, then the first session on sleep.
- Day Three
- The long leg under sail. Afternoon session on muscle and movement.
- Day Four
- A day at anchor. Nothing scheduled after breakfast.
- Day Five
- Metabolic health, plainly explained, and the questions nobody gets ten minutes to ask.
- Day Six
- Islands, swimming, and the last dinner ashore.
- Day Seven
- Return to Split, and what each of us changes on Monday.
